Bulking up small seed quantities

the drill hole in the carton { that is to let the seed drop out) with a small bit to start with then progressively bigger if needed, to suit .
put the timer what drops out then work out speed/area covered etc...same as usual

the baler cord pulls the bottle upright to stop seed running out on headland

ive never used the idea mind, keep meaning too .

Thanks for finding the pic. Bury the Trash! You're jolly good at locating it as well as it was in Farm Ideas 15 - 20 years ago. I made one for myself, calibrating the size of hole in the bottle and it worked better than any other method. I tried everything - mixing with fert and seeing the seeds shake up to the top. Never had any 'old' grass seed, but used to top up swards with a few kgs of Augusta Italian to get the pit full. Those were the tail chasing days of farming... maybe they still are here? All ideas and workshop projects much appreciated! 07778877514
