Bull not jumping

I've bought a stabiliser bull to run with 10 heifers. The bull is showing plenty of interest but I have yet to see him do the deed and mounting. He's been out two weeks now and is being closely watched, am concerned now, would this be a case of bull getting pushed to hard with meal? He was getting a few kilos a day where I bought him?

Keep a record of the heifers when they are bulling if he’s not working they will be cycling again in 3 weeks.
You don’t see them all working.

Hardly ever seen a bull serve a cow. he will be fine...interest is the main thing if he has that i see no probs ..bought a very big Char last year was told by a few he was too big for my small cows...Turned away a few with Jan born heifers...2 have just calved at 14months old and they are not very big ,amazing how nature works

Got a young limi bull last month and it's been the same as the OP posted. He was showing a lot of interest but I never saw him do the deed. However 4 cows have gone past 3 weeks and 3 didn't come over.

Did have him fertility tested though

Fair enough, I'll wait for the next to come around and see what the results are. He's not fertility tested no, stabiliser bulls aren't common around here so I didn't really have the option to be fussy, The CH stock we have must be a real porn star you can regularly see him in action!

If he is a pure Stabiliser bought through the company, they would definately give you the option at least to have been fertility checked? My friend up north bought one recently on paper, the fertility check came back not as expected so they changed him for a different bull

One of our bulls has been out for about 10 days now and I think I've only seen him jump one cow. Seen him "courting" plenty of cows and I've put them all down as services in my management app. Will watch them all next cycle to check.
Remember a few years ago, we loaned a bull to my uncle to sweep up his milk cows as he was struggling to get them incalf. Few weeks passed and my uncle was playing hell that he'd never seen the bull serve a cow and he was useless. Anyway a while later he had to apologise as at his routine vet visit every cow was incalf! The bull must have been shy and was serving them at night 😂
