Business electricity

Whats a rolling deal ?? You stay with the supplier but renegotiate? Standing charge is peanuts unless you have a lot of meters . 20 p is £6 a month ,so you save the £3 at 10 p standing charge .
12.10 sounds very good but try asking prices now . All seem to have gone up 10 % at least!!
Yeah sorry poor choice of words from me, “rolling” from the point of view that the buying group renegotiates a new deal with a supplier every 2 years and we all roll onto the new agreement.

4 years seems an exceptionally long time to lock yourself into an electricity deal, unless the price is great - which when I was paying less than 10p per unit 2 years ago, 14p now on a 4 year deal doesn’t sound brill. But maybe we had exceptionally cheap prices previously and it’s trending up and up. How’s your crystal ball? :p

Russia , gas prices , Brexit , starting from a cheap perspective , lots of domestic customers getting cheaper deals now due to regulation !
What do I know :pompous:, but I would hate to take a 1 year and see it go up another 10% in the meantime
