Business mentors

My wife is developing the farm business and has had success in a limited scale so far with what she is doing. She is working on beef and lamb sales from farm direct to the consumer.
Business gateway types things seem useless and offer little help.
Looking for any help and pointers that she could contact to discuss
Any suggestions.

Has she considered doing rural leadership programme? It has business mentoring as part of course and would be great for contacts etc. Ran by Scottish enterprise I think.Planning applying for it myself this year.

Was in a conference today and they were singing the praises of it.

Don't know of anyone who has a bad word to say about it.
