But I wanted a kitchen

There were quite a few 'fitted kitchen' threads on here this morning and I'm quite interested in a new kitchen but now all the threads have been deleted.

Just wondered why?

It isn't as if they could have been spammers as I noticed that Clive, in the 'old content restored' thread had said (albeit whilst knocking BFF) that:

we don't do it like that here we stop spammers joining in the first place, if we didn't our member number would be 10's of thousands by now but I would rather keep things honest and factual!

So, if the security in here is much better than other forums (we all know to whom I'm referring really ;) ) why are you deleting genuine businesses offering the agricultural community such fantastic deals?

To assure you we have been doing our research on this spammer you might want to read some of the links below about issues other forums have had with this chap who if you follow the wiki link seems to be a bit of a celebrity rouge trader !

From the AV forum:

I decided that nobody at the company would care a hoot that spammers were giving them a bad name since they already have one.

So I have banned the spammer and sent his details to our anti-spam service. If they spam us again, I'll censor the domain.

Meanwhile, hopefully this thread will make it up Google's search results for Kitchen Units so people know to take care before parting with their hard earned cash.

I don't know. I raise a few concerns and I'm slated for it.

I suppose as I'm not a regular poster I'm not considered a proper member? I mean all I said was Clive said ' we stop spammers joining in the first place'.

I'm not sure where to post now either, I thought off topic would be ok. How am I going to fit out out the farm kitchen now to sell our produce to the public direct in a variety of meat based products?

You are welcome here posting agricultural content. I take a big personal interest in the livestock side and look forward to reading your contributions on there

As you will notice there are plenty of forums to review kitchens if you need but I wish you well with your food production enterprise and learning more about it

I will leave it to TFF members to judge the value of your contributions

I have started a thread in Livestock on Working Kitchens, so hopefully we can all learn more about the kit required for agriculturally related add value working kitchens. Please feel free to contribute all

I doubt members from here find the need to go on the fanny forum stirring sh!t,posting about removing spam kitchen posts must really wind the bitter clowns up.

The old boys club has had its day get over it!

quadbod / dafatmanskint,

Its pathetic that you feel the need to come on here for the sole purpose of causing trouble and stirring. In fact so far you have failed to make a single agriculturally relevant post.

You may think that providing a false location and by changing your email address would fool us, but unfortunately it takes seconds to work out who you really are. As an experienced forum moderator yourself, you probably have plenty of experience of dealing with troublemakers

To answer a few of your questions:
Yes yes yes.... I know all that..... but what about my details? If such an obvious spam attack can get through, am I safe?

There is no way for these spammers to get your email address. Spammers are just normal members, they make a few posts, and then they are deleted. Happens billions of times all over the internet every day.

We successfully block 99.9% of spammers but real humans can bypass our stops. To combat this, we are installing a phone verification system. After registering, you will be asked to enter a mobile phone number and we will immediately text you a verification code. This should stamp out the spammers completely. With a bit of luck it will also put off people registering multiple accounts just trying to cause trouble

For anyone else reading this - we are trying our best to raise above the pettiness shown by a few diehard people. It is noticeable that these threads are always initiated by 'the other side'. We don't seem to have any TFF members who feel it necessary to go and troll on BFF, and let's hope it stays that way

We've closed this thread because it was pure trolling from start to finish.

Thanks
