Fancy parting with a set of gears? :D

Chucks it out in a heavy line behind then unfortunately. Its actually fine in flat fields but a pain in the ass on hills.

While we're on the subject of centerliners, does anyone broadcast seed with them? Much to change from usual settings? @Lowland1
Yes I do put wheat and barley on with mine. I took the grids out to stop seed bridging other than that nothing else. I spread at 12 metres not 24 metres so I get an even distribution. It's a really good machine I've got a fancy Amazone but I prefer the Centreliner.

I've some larger mesh to make some special grids for cereal seeds etc.

Pressed in with discs or something lighter after? Very tempted to try this on some ground this year. Currently putting it in with an accord drill but its earmarked for a DD project, I'd quite fancy trying broadcasting seed into min tilled ground where the accord usually blocks up too.

Has anyone tried grass seed with them?

Discordan first then a Galucho press. I made a tined drill out of an old Vicon drill but I need to raise the Venturi as the angle of the pipes means it blocks on some coulters so while I'm doing that I've been broadcasting and to be honest it's better than drilling.

Just caught your comment in the other thread yesterday. Thanks for that, I think I'll give something similar a go this year.

This is wheat that spread at about 55-60 kg/ha.
