TM as above, simple, not a lot to go wrong and no emissions bollox. Had a 150 and was a fantastic tractor, should never have got rid of it.

Most 8340’s were putting out the same power as a TM150/155.

8340 bit more nimble and lighter and shorter wheelbase - TM more comfortable

TM135 in standard form is exactly the same horse power as a 8340 in standard form. However the TM is in a completely different league in terms of what it’s capable of doing. Much more rear lift for a start and a generally bigger frame that’s capable of handling bigger kit better.

To me the 83 is a large tractor but I have found it more nimble than the 956 it replaced. I wonder if I would find the TM too big, they often seem to be on wide wheels which may not suit my small equipment. (joke in there no doubt).
I would like a TS 115 with a turbo but seem to be very scarce.

No the TM is a surprisingly agile machine. Went went from 40 series to TMs and have no regrets.

Are TS115s scarce? Maybe they're all ending up on this side of the sheugh. One without a turbo might be a better buy.

Sorry, meant buy one without a turbo and then turbo it if you need the power.
Is it really that wise to bolt a turbo kit to a tractor that’s even if it’s one of the newest is 15-16 years old?

And even with a turbo it still is no match for say a TM135 which would be similar money to buy
