It's been quite interesting doing the setup for W10, so much MS stuff to reject! But not much different from the Google ecosystem...

Obviously the scaremongers say that your PC will explode and the world will end but probably if you are sensible, use a up to date browser and a decent AV then it really ought to be OK

I am in the process of setting up the office prior to transferring data and software between the 2 machines.... A good wet day job.

2m USB transfer cable here tomorrow so the old box can be popped under the desk, disconnected from the dangerous outside world and be left to bumble on doing the transfers. Probs connect it to the telly afterwards.

Mrs N's computer decided to call it a day, just after xmas, I rung my 'man' we thought initially it would be just the power supply gone pop, but sadly no the motherboard had given up, he said no much chance of getting another too use the same processor, anyways a quick look online and we found just one left ;old stock'.

So new M/B, SSD drive and W10 it fair flies along now, and for it's usage I can't really see what advantage a M2 socket for the SSD could give.
