Not the best news I've had to complete my week as I have C&F turbine. My concern is the monitoring, and that the thing will come to halt as they lose further interest and comms are lost. An NTS letter later on the same day stated they can autonomously read the monitoring data, but doesn't suggest they are in control of it. They also didn't give much reassurance over customer machines held at their workshop. At least it gives the chance of finally seeing the back of anything to do with these people. As has been suggested it appears to be flipping names between the subsidiaries rather than actually doing away with any of the existing businesses, except for the manufacture of complete turbines. Even the employees are being reabsorbed within the group. Supposedly it's a voluntary wind up so you can bet all the worthwhile assets have been absorbed within the group, and the liquidator will have little to distribute to claimants. It also makes sense that with 400 plus turbines in Japan not being certified that the company wants to distance itself from that fallout. You can only wonder whether the Japanese government might pursue this matter through the European courts. This especially considering the recent EU/Japan trade agreement. I'd be reluctant to pay a bill to C&F GE Ltd until I was contacted by the liquidator. Might be your lucky day and a chance of getting something back off these people. Check it isn't from one of the other myriad of companies hiding under the C&F tooling ie umbrella, even if the job/parts was originally organised though C&F GE Ltd. .
