I think what it's saying is your page is 8"x3" which seems small and if you print it like that your scale is 1:1142 I could be wrong though
Done a bit of googling and it`s telling me to ignore them numbers and to set the scale in the box i`ve highlighted , But can`t adjust that box .?I think what it's saying is your page is 8"x3" which seems small and if you print it like that your scale is 1:1142 I could be wrong though

Oh WOW!! That's scarily impressive!!! How is that muck spreader even possible?!
Does sketch up work on mac or is it windows only?
Far as I know it works on Mac .Does sketch up work on mac or is it windows only?

Like you said earlier in the thread it's seriously addicting! Given time there isn't much you can't make in sketchup. That spreader was a bit of a challenge I'll admit.
Mac and Windows I believe
Works on both
and I thought I spent too much time on sketch up
I spent 2 years studying construction and design in college so had an unhealthy amount of time designing and planning on sketchup or AutoCAD, certainly put me off a full time office job for life!
Anyway, if you want a simple way of planning out ideas sketchup is ideal. And RWG's posts are perfect to learn how to get used to it.

That`s where i was going wrong alright . With a bit more googling i found these links which put me right .https://help.sketchup.com/en/article/3000154Have you set the view to parallel projection, it'll only let you set the scale in that view

Not so bad, I print a lot of stuff out to scale. Its handy for working out stuff
I usually put the measurements on rather than scale, mainly cause I'm to lazy to mess with scale ruler
Been using sketchup today. Anyone know how to move a dimension annotation into a different plane (along ground rather than vertical) please?
