Calf Bloody Dung

I have a calf at 9 weeks old and last night it has started to put this bad dung full of blood. Does anyone know the cause before I consult a vet?

Calf is skipping about eating like normal.

Had 1 last and we think it was salmonella (don't know about spelling) injected with beetamox la seemed to get better

Assume coccidiosis, treat immediately do not put it off till tomorrow.

If the calf is one of a group treat them all for cocci. Had a bunch that weren't doing and had never shown any symptoms but vet tested and it was cocci, will knock them hard and for a long time

cocci for sure , will take a few days to start coming right after treatment so dont panic if they dont dry up straight away like worming , if there is blood will be quite heavy infection , as above do whole lot ,

Could have just suffered a trauma, give it a calf scour pill and a jab of antibiotics.
