What tractor is it on? The procedure is similar on them all just a few bits change depending on spec.

On our T7 with sidewinder -
Make sure its warm before starting as it wont let you start if its cold. Best doing it after a days work so all the internals are hot and at working temp (However I found old TM was smoother if done first thing in the morning so just trial and error see whats best for you tractor)

Handbrake must be on and you must be in the seat for the duration of the procedure, leave hydraulics lights and aircon all off so you don't mess with the engine speed/load.

Press up and down gear buttons together and start the tractor
Press up gearshift until A comes on the gearbox screen
Shuttle forwards and let your foot off the clutch
Press automatic transmission button and it will start the calibration
It will automatically rev up to 1200rpm and go through each pack, should only take a few mins and it will go back to A once its finished.
Ignition off for 10 seconds to store the settings and your done.

If you haven't got sidewinder you may have to use the hand throttle to set 1200rpm I'm not sure as all ours are sidewinders, you may also have to press the automatic transmission button 3 times to start the calibration like on Tm's

Its a 10min job I do it every few weeks when the tractor's busy, keeps all the packs smooth and the gearbox nice and tight so no play starts, if you have any problems I will pm you my number and talk you though it (y)

My local NH dealer did a manual calibration on my T7 after two calibration done as described in the instruction. This made a big difference. This was done under warranty as I wasn't particular impressed with it but now it really smooth at both up/down and shuttle

Hi @cosmagedon .
Have calibrated as you describe and gearbox is better, it's a 6090 . Thank you (y)

Glad you got it sorted :)

Sounds like they did the fill timings with the laptop, its possible to do it through the diagnostic plug with the H button but I haven't tried it yet.

We recently got a t7 sidewinder and I feel it could do with being calibrated, following the procedure but I'm having a problem getting the tractor into forward while calibrating. Ours has the electric handbrake on the left hand shuttle. If anyone knows how to get around this be ideal!

If you have the EPL, you have an auto command. Similar procedure though. Just hold the plus and minus buttons while starting, put shuttle lever into forwards, but you must pull the manual handbrake on! Use up shift to get dt in the display and press the trans mode button on the sidewinder 3 times, hope this helps. Will automatically set revs and will rev flat out when calibrating torque damper.

Sorry to comment again, the procedure has changed, get into calibration mode as mentioned before, but use forward reverse button until it says 'syn' in the display, then press and release the trans mode button. Sorry for any confusion.
