***Calling all the main MALE decision makers from family farms in Powys***

I am a final year student at Harper Adams University, studying BSc (Hons) Rural Enterprise and Land Management. As part of my degree, I must carry out an honours research project on a chosen topic. My project aims to investigate the contribution of women to family farm succession planning in Powys.

As part of this work I require responses from the main MALE decision maker within the family farm, who are willing to share their thoughts on succession planning and the women’s contribution. Therefore, if you could spare me 5-10 minutes to complete my questionnaire it would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Yeah that’s what I thought too.
Ella, why are you restricting your survey to Powys? You would obtain far more replies if you invited contributions from anywhere in the UK.
Unfortunately, I am working to a time limit. Therefore, I didn’t think I would be able to analyse responses from all across the UK in time. I will note it as a limitation to my project – many thanks

Thing is though, the response rate would be much greater if opened UK wide and probably given more statistically valid results.
Analysis of the results would take the same time, it's only the data entry that would take marginally longer.

Just an observation.
( Well put together questionnaire though (y) )

But if there were too many to cope, just pick whatever number you can manage at random.

I was impressed that you asked for farm size in acres. Apart from me, everyone on here pretends they work in hectares, but they don't - they just don't want to be regarded as backward.
