Cally mart Martinmas sale

Just wanted to say what a great show of lambs they had at Monday's sale.11000 store sheep. Lambs were looking good despite all the rain, and they were a great trade, well done to ally and the market staff. Just wonder what the trade will be like in dec2019?

Biggest sale in 35 years ally said.

Was some spectacle seeing every single sheep and cattle pen used.

Trade was very good from start to end. It’s always the Cally’s biggest sale, and always dear. Would be 3-4000 more than usual though. More folk getting shot of lambs perhaps knowing trade would be good and lack of grass?

Also good to see the cally get a turn as well, a lot of folk must keep them for this sale, l sometime think the first two sales of the season is good time to sell there as well.
