The unit at the shed will have a setting so it gives a wifi signal . Fit it high up as possible for good coverage while still having clear line of sight to your house bridge unit. . Ours is good for about 100metres.
If you can not get it in a position where it gives you good wifi coverage it`s simple to run a cat5 cable from the bridge unit to a wifi access point unit placed at a suitable point
I think I’m slowly starting to get my head round all this stuff now, hopefully will get it all sorted, cheers

Aye, amazing what you learn to do by reading TFF :D
If you ring the support boys at Solwise & explain your situation they will recomend suitable units.
(other companies are available, just I`ve found them helpful )

We have had the Engenius 202 units for about 5 years now,

So the probable set up would be -
in your house
a cat5 cable from your router to the bridge unit ideally on an outside wall. It would probably work through a window but you loose performance. The bridge unit will get its power from a POE box (probably supplied )

Shed end. 2nd bridge again on an outside wall
Cat5 with a POE box in line back to a network switch,,something like this
NETGEAR GS305 Unmanaged Switch 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch

This one has 5 sockets, you can get as many as you need.
Into these sockets you can plug your cameras, another wifi access point , or anything else you need.

I get external Cat cable from cable monkey
For longer lengths
I think the tidyest way is to run the cable & terminate in a wall socket

You need a punchdown tool to push the cables into the connectors

Then at each end you just need short patch lead (various legths available ) to connect from the wall socket

I`m just a numb fingered old dairy farmer & it`s no bother at all doing this stuff
Although cat6 is the highest spec cable for what we do 5e is fine & is easier to work with as the wire strands are more flexible
hope that helps

Edit You can get RJ 45 plugs to crimp on the end of the cable. I do find that a awkward for the afor mentioned fingers so prefer the method described above

These were both taken in darkness, ewe would be 25ft, the thumbs up from 37-40ft.

the shed has 1 bar of phone signal so it was taking 15 minutes to scan the shed on SIM card. I had a WiFi booster for next door ontop of the shed and so I asked the company if I could have a PAYG system installed from January-April, they turned the boosting(unusable) WiFi into useable WiFi and then installed a Ethernet cable to the camera, I can now scan the whole shed within 30 seconds 👍🏻 There is also a microphone on this one, the girl working with me said my kids were shouting Hi to her this morning through it 😂

bought 2 of these and arrived today. Do I need to buy 2 seperate SIM cards or can I connect hotspot from one to the other in the sheds?

No idea sorry I’ll ask my wife when I see her after, she put a simcard in and put £10 of credit on it but we only have 1 bar of signal in the shed so it was taking a long time to see the whole shed,
we have a wifi booster ontop of the shed for the neighbours signal so I asked the wifi company to put it onto the camera needed a few different things, had the bill this morning if £120 labour and £110 for cabling and Reuters but it’s there to stay now and then I pay him on a useage only contract and only available January- April but it’s been a lifesaver having WiFi in the lambing shed being able to take calls and send pictures 👍🏻
