Money a bit tight after losing a calf and a csec. Do like look of yours tho!As a guide I bought a much better (in my opinion!) gate from Teemore Engineering for £500 (was on offer). I think it is an ex5 if you want to look it up. The side gate has two openings, that one has none.
Don't think I would want to give more than £200 for that one. It looks a bit light build. I would rather pay more for something that I will be happy with.
On closer inspection it doesn't seem to have a built in gate for csec or sucking calf so will give it a miss. My local merchants have a Ritchie one avail [emoji848]it don't look much good for making a calf suck unless you make some alterations
head yoke looks ok though
depends how well it will fit where you want it
as above £200 or perhaps 250 if it will fit well
Yes I wondered that. With the frame I'm assuming it takes up a lot of space.I bought a Richie, its blooming heavy. I didn't realise as well that it came with the frame. I know I'm stupid, but from the photos on web sites its difficult to tell. Not people have them in stock when you ring round, I so rang Richie.

Thanks that's really helpful.View attachment 687124View attachment 687126View attachment 687128
Two pen set ups I have. The first one the gate can actually be used both ways so one gate does two pens. The nearest pen, where the picture was taken is best for calving cows in as it is longer so plenty of room for the jack.
Aghhh, well it was a thought.non of them I wouldn't think
Nice looking bit of kit [emoji108]We use this one, have done c section fine and good for sucking calves. We do calve cows with jack in it but the vet cage restricts you a bit. One without a vet cage would be ideal.
