As a guide I bought a much better (in my opinion!) gate from Teemore Engineering for £500 (was on offer). I think it is an ex5 if you want to look it up. The side gate has two openings, that one has none.
Don't think I would want to give more than £200 for that one. It looks a bit light build. I would rather pay more for something that I will be happy with.

it don't look much good for making a calf suck unless you make some alterations
head yoke looks ok though
depends how well it will fit where you want it
as above £200 or perhaps 250 if it will fit well

On closer inspection it doesn't seem to have a built in gate for csec or sucking calf so will give it a miss. My local merchants have a Ritchie one avail [emoji848]

I bought a Richie, its blooming heavy. I didn't realise as well that it came with the frame. I know I'm stupid, but from the photos on web sites its difficult to tell. Not people have them in stock when you ring round, I so rang Richie.

Yes I wondered that. With the frame I'm assuming it takes up a lot of space.

Its was better than I thought as you can use with hurdles to make a separate pen, so we are going to put in the middle of dividing wall with a normal gate on one side and the rest of the square being made of hurdles when needed.

Does anyone know of a cattle crush that is also good for calving? Must be suitable for csec and sucking calf. We need to replace our general crush and think it might be prudent to get one piece of equipment to do both jobs.
