Can anyone recommend a calving jack

I can get a Technall for 120euro or there is two versions of the Vink, one for 240 euro and one for around 400 euro.

Which would be the best or is there better options
Whats the difference between the cheap and dearer Vink

The dearer Vink is a bit bigger for larger beef calves.

Vink spend the extra on the longer bar and the one that moves one foot at a time.

Vink. Make sure you get the 1800 long and not the 1600. I had a shorter one in my first job and you run out of pole (but it does fit in the car easier).

I hate the alternate traction jacks. If I go to calve a cow I will dirty my straight pull one in favour.

Agree with not liking the alternate traction jacks, got both sat by calving boxes but go for the conventional first, bought as in theory sounded great. Also surprisingly more hassle to get ropes on when late and had a run of calvings!! Well the one rope that is that inch further!!

Vink!
It's a no-brainer I'd say. I'll happily tackle a calving myself with it. The old one we had before i preferred two of us.
Mines just the standard one I think.
Surprised to hear you guys not liking the alternate pull version.
I always thought that the alternate leg pull one would be better somehow. The old round ribbed pole type we had before was alternate and I remember thinking at the time the new both legs together way was a step back.

Try not to use it, but sometimes no option.

+1 those ones you have to push to get to move are horrible we apply gentle pressure by pushing down when the cow pushes and when she stops lift back up and take the slack out by jacking
