You can get a Vink copy head for the HK jack (Moorepark head) and it's ok. The round bar wears and eventually slips. The standard T head works on standing animals, but is useless when down. Particularly if the cow goes down at a critical moment. I started in practice with a HK with the shaft that splits in two. Useless bloody thing. Useless.I have an HK does the job

Agree, no need for alternate pull, just take one of the ropes off then swap them if stuck on shoulders. Once shoulders are through you want to be pulling both feet together, also easier to twist the hips with conventional jackAgree with not liking the alternate traction jacks, got both sat by calving boxes but go for the conventional first, bought as in theory sounded great. Also surprisingly more hassle to get ropes on when late and had a run of calvings!! Well the one rope that is that inch further!!
