Keep an eye out for this transit tipper, caught it down one of our old beet pads today, two young male occupants, both under 25, found them heaving an old 6ft spring tine ive not used for years onto the back of their van.

Luckily one of my mates had spotted them before i did, and had blocked the drove off with his car, so they were still there time i had stopped what i was doing and made my way down there.

Some choice words and slight weilding of a pick axe handle "persuaded" them, to part with their newly aqquired find, have bought it home on the tines now, cant leave nothing laying about nowhere nowdays, thieving little barstewards

You'll be getting a visit from plod tonight then, threatening behaviour, traumatising young men, probably get sued for causing stress as well!!!

car breaker friend of mine ran thier reg number through his computer, its registered in blackpool of all places!

Last time the police called here it was 10pm one night a few harvests back, and they had just followed my combine up the road, i was driving, took it down to next field instead of tracking it home, they walked across the fields back to the yard. They had search teams and the helicopter out looking for the driver because they thought it was stolen!

They eventually found someone who knew me and knew the combine, and they sent them round to our house, i wasnt best amused let me tell you!

Shows how good they are at "finding" criminals if i managed to walk away from the scence and was back indoors before they even dared go in the field!
