Doing a pop up campsite on farm for the first time...
Wondering how people charge, per tent? Per person? Extra for multiple vehicles? What do you think works best?
Also interested on people's thoughts on dogs, risk of Neospora?
Thanks,

£8 a night per adult and £1 a night per vehicle we paid the last twice and couple of quid for the electric hook up and fire pit... 6 man tent.
Immaculate / washing facilitirs showers etc
We’ve had a caravan site on site for over 50 years. It’s a certified location as part of the caravan and Motorhome club.
I’m currently charging from £16 per night per pitch. That includes electric and WiFi.
But I’m seriously considering charging electric as per usage rather than all in. Some big units suck a lot of power.
Fan heaters and fridges in awnings are banned but some try it every year.

Round here the big sites have shower blocks and toilets, if you have camping these are needed but for caravans and campervans they usually have their own toilet/showers.Interesting, as I am thinking of starting a pop-up camping site, just wondering what the drawbacks are?
Can you specify no dogs or children, or will that kill it completely!
Do most people provide shower blocks?
I’ve seen some sites now that have 10amp breakers on their hook ups instead of 16 which limits blow heaters etc

main drawback is time,4 people arrived today never being here before so showed them roughly which direction and a 5 minutes chat of where from etc etc, then others turning up wanting to stay longer, others wondering what time places in the town are open till, another had had a puncture so where was best tyre garage, another could they put an awning up as they hadn’t paid for an awning before Currently 5 vans here and that’s what’s happened today. Had a Gamekeeper from Berkshire turn up today though with a RR and Airstream which was cool as never seen one before
No electric hereIf you have electric hook up watch the airstream..they can suck a LOT of electric
10 quid per person per night. Compost loo, gas powered shower, a sink and a tap in the field. no electricity. Only had a few people so far but it's been fine, a bit of extra cash for not much work.
Tents mainly?
