Can’t get integrated receiver on new John Deere 8r

Ordered a new Johndeere 8r this week here in New Zealand and got told you can’t get the intergrated GPS receiver due to shortages. Have any of you guys in the UK been told this by your dealers recently when ordering a 7r/8r?

Ours is coming in September and has it or at least we haven't been told otherwise yet.

Mine is arriving in mid March ( hopefully) and I haven't been told that. I have been told that to order a 8r now you are looking at 12-14 month delivery times.

I don’t think this is brand specific it’s all brands. Although I was told back in the autumn that when ordering a new tractor and I told the rep I wanted his tractor but i could only do the deal if he could get the gps gear so he went back to the brands rep and he said he could find one if it got the deal. Anyway tractor not here but service manager told me my screen and receiver is on his desk so looks like they’ve kept their word

I hear dealers are getting around 1/3 the receivers they need across all ranges due to these shortages. The reciever is no longer an option for the dealer to even tick when filling out the order. That said, I would have expected 7R/8R to get priority with the Receive Being built in.

You’re right about the 12-14 month wait, mines not coming till March next year

Same here in Canada.
Can’t even get a Green/yellow tractor/combine/sprayer to put it in for this year if you’re ordering now. (Ok, not strictly true, some models are available.)
