Our 570 pro drinks a lot of fuel......not sure it's inline with other brands of the same size but it's ridiculous the amount of fuel it gets through.. Revs far to high imo to get anywhere
I went from a 500 to a 570 Pro last winter, and I think it uses about the same amount of fuel. Of course, if you use the extra speed/power regularly, then I would expect it to use more, but for every day use it’s about the same.
That was going from one V-twin to another, the op would be going from a single cylinder to a twin, with a big increase in power.
I traded in a Polaris Sportsman 570 for a Can Am Outlander Pro 570 this year and I notice very little difference.
I reckon the Can Am uses less fuel when towing and a bit more when just running around, obviously depending on how you drive it.
If you must do 25mph+ everywhere you go it will use a bit as will any quad.
We have a Can-am 570 and a Yamaha 450. I’d say they both use about the same amount of fuel. The Yam was very good in its day 10 years ago, but is like a bit fell off compared the the Can-am.
I’ve never found any quad that is particularly economical on fuel.
We have had a few different bikes over the years and as you say it seems to be on just the way you drive them. we had yamaha 450 before we got can am 450 but you can notice the 450 can am is better on fuel . but after having the 570 on demo the 570* is way smoother bike to drive. The only fault I would have with our can am 450 was that in the hill the hi range was to hi and low range was to low . We're the 570, just feels way better geared
