Can am dealers Yorkshire

Not when I skied them
They didn't sell anymore just used them

Can am and LR Automotive websites seem to list them still.

Ah right no one particularly local to us then!

I was told by can am a new franchise was to be appointed for our area but obviously it hasn’t happened yet.

Did you ever get that problem you had with the quad you bought from York dealer sorted?
On the 3rd attempt we managed to get everything sorted. Never heard a dicky bird from that lot at York. I’m am somewhat surprised and disappointed as I had heard good things about them but our experience has been very poor. The lack of support at all levels means we won’t ever buy anything else with a can am badge on it either.

Hmmm. Went there before I went to the dealer in York. Bloke behind the counter looked over his glasses at me and said and I quote “what do you want?”

I was a bit taken aback as I wanted to discuss buying a new quad as I had bought from them previously. However i did manage to begrudgingly get him to take my details with the promise a salesman would get in touch. The salesman did but only after I put a somewhat harsh comment on another social media platform about them. This was 6 months later as well. I think the salesman was a bit disappointed about my stance but once he heard my version of events he became even more disappointed. Especially when I pointed out I had asked them to service our other quad we had bought from them previously and was still waiting for a time and date 3 years later!

Dunno what it is about me and local quad bike dealers. I believe I’m a reasonable person and bills always get paid on time. but I’ve found no one seems to want to do business with us.

Next time I want a quad I will speak to either Russells at Malton or Farmstar at Market Weighton. Those companies both seem to value our business and make an effort.

Sounds pretty sh!t.

But seems the way of the world now.

Also consider moorland atv at Rosedale?
But not that handy for you.

I was going to suggest Russell’s. Also try Vale Engineering at York, they are Yamaha Dealers, also good service.

Geo Agar`s Honda at Ravenscar get about a fair bit and seem pretty good on service too....

Yes, I was going to mention them too. Top family run firm and could do worse than a visit to them. Well they're next to the seaside too

I ran a 100hp Landini loader tractor and when the dealer I originally got it off closed, Agars looked after me/it very well. I now have a similar John Deere for my sins so don't get to go see them. I still don't know if I did right getting the JD as the Landini never had a spanner on it in 5 years, servicing aside - but this is drifting the topic (sorry)
