I didn't think there was much difference between RC40/45 and PAV mixes.
RC45 and PAV-2 have same cement content

The readymix firm will recommend If you use a RC55 mix it'll reach the same strength as a RC30 sooner, but if you drive on it on it prior to 28 days then readymix firm will still not stand by the mix of it cracks, does that make sense

What differentiates the two?

So PAV2 without air is just RC45?
Think there are some other subtle sciencey crap differences but essentially. Imagine polystyrene without the air or an aero chocolate bar without the air haha.
Mmmmmmm.....Aero!
So PAV2 without air is just RC45?
No, its the ingredients to stop it corroding the steel.

That's difference between a C and an RC.
There is more to simple concrete than just about anyone knows... hence "wet it up a bit driver" is a common phrase heard when you should have ordered something different.
I believe pav2 is the same cement content as rc45 but the air bubbles in it make it the same strength as RC35So PAV2 without air is just RC45?

An RC and a C are the same mix, just lazy people miss the R off
