I have a a router with a 3sim card in for the home broadband. The service has dropped to nothing. So I was wondering if I could just change the sim in that router. Eg could I go get a 02 sim and just pop it in?.

Yes was thinking that but if I need a new router I could do with getting it ordered ASAP as oh cant manage to get her work done as broadband is so bad.

Maybe ask "3" why the service level has been compromised ? They are upgrading to 5G quickly in many areas and it may be a blip ?

How about using the "hotspot" facility on a phone as a temporary measure - I did that for my wifes laptop with an HTC phone about 10 years ago in "The bay of Plenty". My current iPhone SE has a similar facility.

The router came from 3 with the deal. Currently using her phone as a hot spot but the extra data is a bit pricey! Trying to upgrade her contract currently as o2 offering unlimited data at the mo on one tariff.
