Can I get these pins out of this plug?

I need to get this plug off so I can change the reflective board, but can't seem to find a way to do it, anyone help please?

Do they just pull out or is a special tool required?

If you put a very,very narrow screwdriver down alongside the wire you might just push the steel tag back in.
Otherwise, pulling on the wire will bend the metal tag, hopefully straighten to put back.

Edit:
You might have to cut the loom back so your pulling only one at a time and will allow you to pull it dead straight.
 
Good bits of of gear to have in the toolkit. I've struggled using bent wire/paper clips etc, but the tools are so much better. Can get either the Lisle 56500 extraction tool or the Durite 0-703-99 pair online for about £17 delivered.

The Lisle is exactly the same as the green coloured Durite. With the Durite you get the red anodised tool included for the same money.
