Can someone give me the short version on biomass boilers?

hi,

I'm being lazy really, I'm thinking of a new heating system for our dairy farm and I was aware there were some good rates available on biomass a couple of yrs ago as I spoke to a chicken farmer about it, has all of this ended? What kind of cost savings are people making if any on current tariffs? I remember something about declaring how much you produced and then getting cash back from the government?

Thanks

Matt

You have probably missed the boat but it depends what you are heating now, what you would heat if you fitted a system and how much your fuel would cost before or after.

You are corect though, the more you burn the more your earn, it's a strange set up but worked very well for those who need heat or can sell it on
