I am certain I cannot be the only one thinking this, and to be honest have done since the 25th July 2019. Personal politics aside when are the tory backbenchers/1922 committee going to stand up against this self-serving incompetent twit who can now only be harming their party and remove him?

I don't have a lot of time for Max Hastings either but I do think now that his words in 2019 are now more relevant than ever - 'he is unfit for national office, because it seems he cares for no interest save his own fame and gratification'. 'There is room for debate about whether he is a scoundrel or mere rogue, but not much about his moral bankruptcy, rooted in a contempt for truth.'

Are we now able to admit that celebrity government doesn't work and what we actually need are competent, rational and truthful leaders who are willing to represent us nationally and internationally to regain some credibility.

p.s. not Gove, Raab, Truss or Patel. But whom...

Perhaps their the same as us and can't think of a competent alternative 🤔

@Danllan will know lol.
He is connected to Matthew Parker Square, by all accounts.
The fact remains not one of the parliamentary Conservative party has covered themselves with glory since the election.
Their pollyanna routine wore thin sometime ago and frankly shows them to be nothing more than a bunch of chancing wasters.
Saying that they could go to the house of Lords and get someone with a head on their shoulders, but only if they have "donated" £3000000 to Conservative coffers. Michelle Mone? Haha.
Savid Javid may be the man to finally do it in a Heseltine manner, been treated very shoddily (like the rest of us) by Bungling. Maybe he will be ready to do it.

Sorry to say it, but the likely replacement would be Gove. I know you said not Gove......but it would be him.

Gove - after this? (from about 11 mins in). Whenever I need cheering up, I turn to this video, in particular the piece where the interviewer says "I'm staggered. I don't know how you're going to get out of this one, but its going to be fun" The only downside is that his interjection actually got Gove off the hook.

So what has Boris done wrong exactly other than some wallpaper ?

Boris did ensure £100s millions went into Vaccine development before any other European state, so I think that exceeds Wallpaper problems.

However the Civil Service's conducts on immigration is appalling.

Sunak.
I like British Indians, generally crack on and get the job done. I doubt he’s sleazy, seems better than that (kiss of death alert!)
It’s a shame his wife is so wealthy as no doubt the press will attack him for that.

He also has one of the most rural constituencies in England which is surely good for farming.

Have you actually worked with any Asians ? I have, they spent most of their time ensuring anyone who was better than them got sacked.
