I have in the past. If in doubt you can always give the technical helpline a call. The number will be on the label although some of them prefer talking to agronomists rather than farmers.

According to BASF, it depends on the exact formulation of glyphosate (and in particular the wetters etc...)

I was going to say, I would be very wary of doing this mixture, you need to find a half decent glyphosate product and ring the technical helpline for that product and ask them which metazachlors it will be compatible with. It does help if you have not bought a discount special. There are times when a real deal product has advantages, this is one of those times. Using a half decent metazachlor would be useful as well.

This. Cheap gly and cheap metazachlor do not mix. As above, you may need a decent adjuvant to keep the mix stable.

I've never mixed the two, having been warned off doing so by lots of older agronomists/sprayer drivers. I've always done the 2 separately. Infuriating when I used to glyphosate the stubble, pre em then liquid fertiliser, all within a week. CSFB and Belkar have made that workload easier - drill ASAP after harvest before it greens up, no pre em to hold the osr back but liquid N on pre em or pre drilling instead.
