Yes. 1.2t @ 380 = output of £456. Put a rent in at £300/ha and then you have £150 to grow it and do all the work. Knowing PC the seed will be fudging expensive. I'm in awe of anybody who has fixed costs low enough to make any profit at that!

Grown on owned wheat ground, no pgr this year and never used avadex, hope that helps

Yeah that pretty much the lower limit of inputs then. Do you find the need to do much blw control? I'd "guess" whereas I have more grass weed pressure you have more blw than me.

What was the sample like?

It got one blw spray of mircam plus 2.5l/ha of the top of my head and a desiccation spray, that was it. Think this year is probably the cleanest sample we’ve ever had which could be down to the longer straw threshing better, but it will go over our cleaner anyway so I don’t worry to much about what it looks like coming off the combine.

ps, we don’t have a bad grass probably fortunately, usually just a bit of meadow grass in the bottom if I can’t get on the cereals with a pre em, and the odd pach of rye grass which fortunately isn’t resistant as yet!
