Someone on here said they were quoted for some dairy equipment (cluster flush?) pre grants, didn't pursue it, then hey presto, after grant available, enquired again and price had gone up by 40%.
I was paying £55 for extra heat detection collars pre grant post grant they want £90.
Said it before will say it again,How can they set a price when steel is jumping up In price weekly, you may agree to buy something when the grants come out but not see it for 3-4 months if your lucky with the supply chain and by then it could have gone up 30% and you 40% grant will be nearer 10%. The prices I’ve seen on the welsh grant scheme don’t even resemble the true cost of something, the figure they come up with is even less than the old countryside productivity in England.
For example a hydraulic squeeze crush was 40% of £10500 2 years ago on the English grant scheme and now on the Welsh scheme today it’s 40% of £7600. A hydraulic crush to buy today without grant scheme is £16500 after discount. Where do they get their figures from?

I'm not certain why they find that complicated, they manage it with pensions well enough, I'm not saying it should be triple locked or anything, but they could do it if they wanted to.Said it before will say it again,
