Caravan holidays

We got one a couple of years ago, should use it more, ideal for say a weekend away at short notice, just hook up and go, we never even book anywhere
Yes I think that's the general idea, we've just given up a large block of land in order to end our " busy fool " lifestyle but if you don't make an effort to actually get away you always find something to do on the farm.

I suppose that as I spend most of my time towing a cattle trailer or drill about what could be more relaxing on my holiday than towing a caravan about:banghead:

Do farmers go on caravan holidays if so why?

It's a great way to have a really cheap holiday out of a very expensive hobby.......:D

We have one, all bar one of our family holidays over the last 8 years have been in a caravan, we love it, kids go crazy for it, can go when time allows, it's not expensive once you've got the kit.

My advice would ge to join one of the clubs, that doesn't mean weekly meets in a car park chatting to Caravan fiddlers in cardigans....:ROFLMAO:, it's just a good network of sites, some are members only.....The Caravan Club is a good one, although they have recently changed their name to The Caravan & Motorhome Club, the club sites are well kept and usually have very good facilities, and there's hundred of locations, and also thousands of CL sites, 5 van sites on farms etc...plenty to choose from...

Your either going to love it or hate it, unfortunately your not going to know until you try:D

Love going away in our caravan, but do struggle a bit finding time. Tend to stay on 5 van sites so you're not regimented as to where to park and they tend to be quieter.
