As from January 1, 2020, Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health will become the exclusive distributor for Diamond V products in the UK and Ireland. This follows the acquisition of Diamond V by Cargill Animal Nutrition in January 2018.

The Diamond V portfolio includes a range of specialist fermentation products for all livestock species that are designed to support the animal’s immune system, promote health and improve performance.

“Introduced specifically for the animal nutrition market in 1943, the range has been continuously developed to meet the changing needs of livestock production,” says Cargill UK commercial director Norman Downey. “Diamond V products are used in livestock diets in more than 70 countries globally.”

Cargill will supply the full range of Diamond V products for the ruminant, monogastric, equine and pet diets for use in compound feeds and in mineral packs, or for use in total mixed rations and home mill and mix diets.

In the UK and Ireland Cargill will continue to promote the original Diamond V XP range across all species. And its continued commitment to research and development will bring new innovations to the market, such as NutriTek to the dairy sector and XPC in poultry. These are two new products that will be widely available in the UK and Ireland in 2020.

“Diamond V’s portfolio complements the livestock nutrition products already available from Cargill,” he adds. “Equally important is the compatibility in the commitment to research in the Cargill product ranges and Diamond V which will ensure continued development of both product ranges and of supporting services.”

Existing Diamond V customers in the UK and Ireland will be able to source products via Cargill from the 1st January 2020, ensuring a seamless transfer and continued high standards of service and support.
