Carraro front axle

It's definitely the drive shaft carrier rattling on the pins that is making the noise. They all do it eventually.

Are those joints greasable or sealed?
Also check the rim to centre bolts aren't loose and creaking

The uj and joints aren't greasable. Yea, their all tight.
Hopefully have chance to have proper look next week and get sorted.

Yea, seems to be. Spoke with a mate today who looked at mine And he had the same problem previously with his old Renault which had the same axle.

Why do manufacturers continue to fit this axle the amount of bother they give?

Was looking at Mcormick at Highland show and it had it fitted and immediately put me off it. Axle was giving bother years ago on Renaults.

After having run the 2008 version, with grease nipples and adjustable nuts, of this front axle for over 7000 hours I would choose it over any front axle that I have driven since... I have demoed a handful of tractors from CNH and Agco and I believe they all would have had better comfort with the Carraro front axle.

Because it's a very comfortable suspended axle if not the most comfortable

Fine if you drive it for someone else and don't have to pay repair bills I suppose.

I agree you'd think they could find a material that didn't wear as quickly

Got the same axle on our NH 7550 , had a demo 7.235 and the ride is like chalk and cheese I tested it out on a nice and bumpy road (plenty of them around here !! ) took mine at 50 k and not to bad took the 7.235 and couldn't stay in the seat ! , if it costs a few quid to maintain so be it .
Done 5k hrs not touched it yet but think it could soon be adjusted .

My tractor also makings knocking/ tapping sound a lot when turning.

Can some one give me advice how can I dismount fork.

I also wish renew bush and pin in fork.

How can I remove the pin from the upper side of the fork?

Must I dismount upper arm?
