Captain hindsight is a clever dick and a waste of energy, corporal future is the man ! But he has a big job on his hands .
I had hoped that Brexit, and meaning the buck stops here, would have given us a higher quality of MP, but it hasn't seemed to have worked through the system yet. I think we need more Norman Tebbits.

On the news yesterday, a lady has been told she can't have the Ukrainian she has offered refuge to because she doesn't have a stair rail. Don't know whether to laugh or cry at the state we have become.
That was always going to happen, when they offered money to take people in.
I’ve got a nice office here that someone could have but I know some jobsworth won’t allow it, because it hasn’t got an EPC

No end of issues with Carrs bills here, it takes longer to sort out that one batch of invoices than all the rest combined :(

The best one was when I ordered a tonne of Calf champion starter mix and got a bill for £15k for it! They’d billed 40 bags at the tonne price each.
I did buy a 3 boxes of 10 galv gate hinges recently and get charged for just 3.
From (ahem) a local supplier. ;)

Same here. I have told them that from now on I am going to bill them for my time sorting their invoices and that I refuse to pay until they have reimbursed me for my time sorting out their acounting issues! I have a very good rep that I work with, otherwise I'd be gone!!

Anyone else having trouble with their accounts department? Sending wrong invoices, won’t answer phone or return emails ? strokers

Sounds familiar! Our rep, and the man above him are VERY good. The accounts side lets the whole lot down.

Minus the sneaky damn credit charges and they lay it out in such a fashion that you have to double or triple check your paying the amount WITHOUT it
That's very true, the VAT isn't added up either. They have opened a lot of new depots recently so maybe taken their eye off the ball.

Anybody else been told you need to pay for fertilizer up front. I phoned about some last week and that's what they said. My account is up to date and I've bought a lot off them in recent years.

Only ,9 bags
