The only thing that let the 12 and 1455 down was the position of the spool valve leavers set in the corner, had mine on a round baler for a few years and your arm wanted to fall off after a day. A lot of people said the tractor was over kill on a round baler but on steep banks it was wonderful. Yet today i often see 200 hp on little round balers and rakes. Mad world ain,t it.

I am looking at doing an electric spool to alleviate that

There was no option of a splitter in the 1255/1455.
Yes same ZF gearbox as the Fendt 600's back then.
@icanshootwell It wouldn't have been all that hard to put a bowden cable or something on them and put them in a more sensible place I guess?

Looks like I’m not missing much then, £40k can buy a 500 or even a 800 classic Fendt with the same gearbox box but at least you would get a 4speed splitter, 50k, front suspension & air as standard.
Or maybe It’s just me & can’t see past these old Fendt’s[emoji849]

I have a deutz 118 with a similiar 6 speedx 4 splits
