think so IIRC, it would be 30yrs agoDid your 1455 have a splitter?

It has a turbclutch, and 6 speed box with high and lowDoes the 1455 have a turboclutch? & share the same transmission as Fendt?
Are they not all 12 speed?Did your 1455 have a splitter?
Mine is 12Are they not all 12 speed?
Not 20 speed? No creeper box?Mine is 12
The only thing that let the 12 and 1455 down was the position of the spool valve leavers set in the corner, had mine on a round baler for a few years and your arm wanted to fall off after a day. A lot of people said the tractor was over kill on a round baler but on steep banks it was wonderful. Yet today i often see 200 hp on little round balers and rakes. Mad world ain,t it.think so IIRC, it would be 30yrs ago
I was only young then with bear and girls to think about, that would of been beyond my abilities to adapt that. There was no option of a splitter in the 1255/1455.
Yes same ZF gearbox as the Fendt 600's back then.
@icanshootwell It wouldn't have been all that hard to put a bowden cable or something on them and put them in a more sensible place I guess?

How does 6 go into 20?Not 20 speed? No creeper box?
There's a lever to the right of the linkage position control. How does 6 go into 20?
I think might have creeper, how do you tell?

Could you put a link to a fendt as u describe?Looks like I’m not missing much then, £40k can buy a 500 or even a 800 classic Fendt with the same gearbox box but at least you would get a 4speed splitter, 50k, front suspension & air as standard.
Or maybe It’s just me & can’t see past these old Fendt’s[emoji849]
I wondered how 20 worked! There's a lever to the right of the linkage position control.
You put it into creep and it locks out 5th and 6th speed so you get 8 extra gears from 1-4 high and low if that makes sense.
