Case 1494 radiator repair ?

anyone know who does rad repairs and sort of cost Bristol area , battery came loose today and has worn a pin hole through front of rad , assume a recore instead of exchange unit will be best cost wise .

Pinch the hole shut with a pair of long nosed pliers then some radweld or a blob of solder.

If it is a regularly used tractor and is still on its original radiator then it deserves a complete new one.

took into rad repair shop this morning , going to epoxy the hole , recons braze might damage it , £60 . against £285 for a recore, i did ask how long repair would last , recons will be ok for long time . so as needed for few acres hay/ silage next week , went with that for now . may try main rad specialists in avonmouth at later time for recore .

I had one recored by Hereford radiators from a case skidsteer. Charged£340 because it's double cored. Three months out of warranty and it's leaking half way down and they're not interested ?
