Case 1840 hydrostatic pump

i have a case 1840 skidsteer and found hydrostatic pump to be worn it is a danfoss pump any recomendations for parts supplier or a breaker whith a used pump case ce not much help but American dealers list all the parts for it does anyone have experience In buying direct from American dealers? thanks

Hydro static is that a drive motor? I got a hydraulic pump for my 1845c from whitehouse hydraulics last year,needed a coupler on the back which I got from the states.

Case skiddies are all made stateside. Have you checked the US CNH parts website to check what part you need? It's pretty good really. You need to nominate a dealer before it will let you search for parts though.

The hardest (most expensive) thing will be the freight costs, the pump will be too heavy to go by air/FedEX/UPS so will need to arrange shipping through a freight forwarder. Best to use a local mob for that.

If you can find the model and of pump it may well be cheaper to buy one locally.

Yes it's the drive pump I've stripped it down and only really need a brass plate inside as its scored the website you gave a link to shows it available as a seperate part so I will e mail them to see if they would ship it to the uk thanks for the help

Ahh if it's just the swash plate then that's a lot easier to ship from the states. A whole pump different story

Yeah the part I need would just about fit in an envelope it's less than a third of the price I was quoted from the local main stealer

I bought a part of a dealer on e bay for a Case digger,didn't take long to arrive and was a third the price.
