Case 4230 1997 hydraulics problem

I changed the hydraulics filter it was all working fine before I changed the filter but when I put it back together the hydraulics weren't working, the front and back loaders weren't lifting at all and the PTO isn't working either. I changed the filter again with no luck and I changed the gasket twice aswell as the O ring. Was wondering if anybody knew what I could do

Any air in system?
Any leavers,steering work?

I was thinking that there must be air in it but how can I get it out. The steering, levers and PTO aren't working

Turn steering to full lock both ways possibly?
Did you put recommended oil and amounts in?
Hy tran think on them?
All took apart and put back same way have you?

Did you fit new sealing ring?

Yeah I put the recommended oil in and the right amounts. It's called powertrans hi trans htx. I put it all back together the very same and I did fit a new sealing ring

Normal for this to happen....
Look below the filter and towards the front of the block the filter is attached to. There are 2 big plugs (might only be one on a 42 series) If there are 2, it's the furthest forward one. Facing the floor. Undo it and take out the spring and plunger. Put a bucket underneath and start the engine. Oil should gush out. Stop engine and replace spool,spring and plug. Should be job done.

Better if 2 do it
One to open screw and the other to start engine and stop it after few seconds
