Case 5140 not moving

Hi guys
Was asked to look at a 5140 that im not that familiar with. When you start tractor up and select forward or reverse the tractor will move for a few seconds then it just stops driving and an orange light appears on the left hand side of dash which looks like a gear. I then dip the clutch and it will flash 6 times or sometimes just 2 times. Is this a fault code it's flashing? Any ideas much appreciated
Thanks

6 flashes of the warning lamp indicates no clutch pressure. Probably a faulty pressure switch on the control valve under the seat on the backend,but...........could be sticking valve, faulty solenoids......check you're getting 8 ohms resistance in the forward, reverse and modulation solenoids on that control valve. Maybe even the clutch cable needs the tiniest of adjustment or a faulty clutch pedal switch. The list can go on and on when the Maxxum develops a transmission fault.

It's the power shift enable lamp though & has nothing to do with the forward/reverse.
Good chance though of it been a pressure switch or solonoid on the power shift valve beside the hydraulic filter.
Does it do this in every power shift gear ?

Hi, have same problem here. Won't move, when you press clutch that light flashes 6 times steady. when depress feels like it wants to go, there is like kick, but still no drive. But somehow drives in 3 powershit gear, without that error light, so anyone knows what might be wrong ? where to start ? ( english is not native language).

Check there's no dirt / dust on the magnetic contacts of the shuttle lever
Greetings from Romania!
Can you tell me ,please, where those magnets are located!
My 5140 powershift fails after 30-45 minutes ,when tractor is getting hot.
3 flashes on the powershift led.
If i cancel the powershift solenoids, and leave only one with a wire ,directly from the battery,i can plow in that range ,no matter how hot the tractor gets.
It works with the wire connected to every one of the 4 powershift solenoids, with the other 3 canceled.
A Case guy quoted me 600 $ for fixing some magnets on the powershift lever assembly.
Can i fix this myself?
Bad days for farming here, with the prices of fertilizers 4 times the last year s prices, and we are trying to save anything we can.
Thanks in advance!
