Case 885 hydraulic problem

I’ve a case 885 which we’ve been having a well know fitter fix since October and to be fair I’ve got past the point of being blunt.

he’s swapped round loader feeds and diverted the pipe into the back end filler cap, however it’s now pressuring the back end that bad it’s pushing oil out the three point linkage top shaft seals, and this is my main concern, the clutch has gone very sharp and I’m concerned it’s now pushed oil into the clutch. But what I’m concerned is that there’s a vibration appeared and I’m sure he’s starved the transfer pump in the gearbox not back ended

I’ve made a few calls to the mechanic and I just don’t seem to be getting anywhere, has anyone any rational ideas? I think I’ve 500.00 outstanding on the bill, but I’m struggling to justify remotely paying this as it’s done a lot more harm than good.

Why on earth is there so much oil in it? Drain it way down til an inch above the full mark on the dipstick.Could also have a blocked breather but I can't remember where it is.
Why were the pipes swapped around?

Oil level is right down, I assume it’s pressurised the back end up that much when we tipped a trailer it’s blowing oil out the dipstick tube as it’s in the oil. I had to undo the hydraulic hose and let the pressure out as it’s pushing any oil everywhere it shouldn’t go. Pipes were swapped round as loader was previously plumbed up wrong?

No the trailer was down, this is the issue I’m lost on? The tractors oil level is right down when we checked it. But it’s pressurising the back end as if there’s no breathers fitted? We’ve owned the machine 5 years and it’s never give any trouble, had a new pump fitted as it was getting abit weak when we had the engine overhauled, to try and help her have a new turn of life.

if you have put the loader return into the filler plug has that not done away with the breather ? I am sure black chassis ones had the breather in the filler plug next to the number plate , earlier ones had the breather screwed into a small plate under the seat . It does need a breather .

That’s what I’m wondering, if there’s somewhere better for the loader to be plumbed back in.

Earlier models used a carry over plate on the end of the spools valve , on yours i think you need the seat out and there is a steel pipe that supplies the tractor spools, you remove this pipe and connect the feed for the loader valve where one end of the pipe fits and the return from the loader spool to the other end of where the pipe fits > this is from memory so your tractor may be slightly different , if you do get the seat out and the steel plate from under it out post a picture of the hyd top and spool valve and i will tell you

I’ll go take the seat out now. I’ll post a picture that link pipe he’s taken the feed into the loader and blanked off the other and then returned that into the top filler cap

This is where you need to plumb in your loader

Yes that works fine, but he said I must leave it in float when not using it? I’ve two spools fitted, he also removed the much needed brake valve from the tractor, that I don’t know where it’s ended up. At present I’ve 40 acres to get fert out over and chainharrow and top. While I’m sat on my laurels pretty much furloughed on the day job

I don’t know I’ll take some photos in an hour, he’s had an international trained man look at it as well. Very close to saying stick the bill.

As super twos diagram shows the return wants connecting in to the blanked off pipe shown in your photo , did he remove the trailer brake valve as well ? , there is no need to

This is where you need to plumb in your loader
So I take it that this pipe is a pressure return from spools to backend of transmission, and therefore just borrowing that high pressure oil and returning it,
Will this be OK to plumb in a Kontak double bank spool valve in this line for to loader ?

Will Kontak spools have the oil flow capacity for constant running on a 885xl ?
