Finished off putting it back together yesterday. Replacement bellows fitted to the gear sticks under the cab, originals were found to be in tatters when cab was off. Pressure of lub & MFD feeds was tested when cold and at operating temperature, results in line with table posted above were observed when cold and up to temp. Yes the pump has solved the problems experienced. Transmission is now filled with Exon Ultrafarm 10w30 SUTO - hytrans equivalent. Pump from main dealer, who offered best price/discount.

Good result. For future ref how many man hours approximately to do the job? Would the strip down give you access to the parking brake?

One hell of a lot of work. Reminds me now why we got rid of a duff 956.
