This is the tank upside down. If you zoom in on the photo you can see metal inserts in the pipes. The two either side go into your brake cylinders,the one in the middle is the outlet pipe and the metal insert sticks up into the tank so the level is kept up. Over time the metal pipe can slip down and it drops the level too low for the cylinders. The tank should be about 2/3 full normally. If it has enough oil the problem is elsewhere.
 
No leak as such. Bit damp below brake peddles in cab. I'm going to put it back together, put some more oil in it as its a bit low and see how we go.

Damp under the pedals could be the cylinders leaking oil out and air back in which would make the pedals soft. Good luck anyway 👍
