Hello friends!
I need your advice.
What is the pluses and minuses to this tractor- Case IH 1490? What's the possible good cheap solution in this 70-95hp market category?

Two 1394 models here which would be fairly similar. Couldn’t beat them. David Brown 4cyl engines are fairly bulletproof. Hydrashift gear box is great just needs to be looked after and respected. Hydraulics are great, but again need to be looked after and oils kept clean.
Id say if you get a fairly straight original one in good working condition it will the best value for money you will get in a basic 1980s tractor in that power bracket

Thanks mates. Sounds very good to me. What kind of oil it needs in engine and hydraulics? Same as 956xl, 1056xl or it's different kind of oil, grades etc?
