We used to run a couple of 5150 tractors.
Mine was called Molly Maxxum . Excellent tractor but you new you had sat in there for 12 hours
when using here on a bedtiller. lots of heat and noise.
Your right the 5150 had bags of power. Used to be able to push the 8340s up hills at the trailer work.
But
It was a hard long day compared to being in the 83 and the electric lift was useless

Gotta be a bit careful i don't shoot myself in the foot nowadays as we now have a Case on the farm as well as TMsIt was the CT test. Not sure on the last piece of your statement though
