Some of you will remember the which tractor thread I had going before Christmas, eventually a choice was made and the order placed early January. 6 months later it's finally arrived!

Picked it up at 3.30pm, received phone call at 3.35pm to say neighbours baler had broke, hooked baler on and had an enjoyable evening doing 60 bales to warm her up. Early impressions are very good, with the baler on economy 1000 PTO it just purrs along. CVT gearbox is lovely with nice spool and hitch buttons on the joystick, not as much engine braking on this 4cyl as on our JD6930, if you approach a junction and pull the stick back to quickly it does seem to over rev, just a little quirk to learn.

Apologies if the thread is a bit self indulgent but first brand new tractor since 2008 so got to be a bit excited!

Haven't delved into the menus and GPS properly yet, dealer coming out in Friday to assist with the button bashing:

When you come to an intersection the other option is taking it off cruise and just use the brakes being an auto there hasn't got much engine braking at higher speeds

Or have an exhaust brake

Hope you liked driving off the foot when baling!

I found the spool timers in the menu and got them set, bale bleeper goes off, pull back transmission lever to stop, wait for wrap, press spool button on joystick to lift tailgate, other button for down, push lever forward. Brilliant!

Very nice all the toys and a vario:greedy::D! Not knocking it but looks a nice little compact dinky tractor, what sort of jobs you got lined up for it?
Oh and don't worry about being self indulgent I'd be doing the same!(y)

Snuck the GPS through on an FFIS grant otherwise doubt we'd have ticked that box. My neighbour tells me he'd never go back to life without GPS, have only used it briefly on a combine myself so looking forward to that.

130-160hp so a little pocket rocket, turns on a sixpence.

Will be used for more or less everything, spraying, fert spreading, mowing grass, front mounted flail, drilling, baling obviously! Trailer work, drilling beet more accurately, hoeing beet etc.

Think ploughing (5 furrows and press), subsoiling and muckspreading might be a bit much for her!

That's what my boss did a few years ago and got some funding for it, certainly makes spreading on silage aftermath a doddle. Keeping it busy then.(y)

It won't be as sharp pulling up at a junction if you use the pedal, also you have 3 different aggressiveness settings to choose from.

Got a puma cvx thus spring and love it, now wish the t6 was too.

MY Steyer Case CVX did 1hour and 21 minutes then the box needed to be taken out, eventually got sick of all the problems and put it in for a Puma cvx.

Yeh when coming up to a junction, put the foot pedal right down, then pull the hand throttle back so your just using your foot pedal and release the foot pedal as you come to the junction and it will slow down with no revs at all, miles better than pulling back on the hand throttle!!
