Cash is King or Not?

Maybe someone should tell Tesco then - a friend who works for them was investigated along with 7 or 8 colleagues because the till that they had all used during their shift came up short - even with a high definition camera pointing at the till they couldn't prove who was at fault.
Didnā€™t the post office have something similar
Caused a lot of grief to genuine people

85% of my customers pay me with cash, 10% BACS and 5% cheque.
I have to do a bank run each week to deposit cash and cheques which I donā€™t mind, but I actually spend more time chasing the 10% BACS people, ā€˜oh I forgotā€™ or ā€˜Iā€™ll do it tonightā€™.
I like the feeling of knowing the hard work thatā€™s gone into that bank deposit and I like paying for meals out etc with cash as when I hand it over I know how hard Iā€™ve worked for that.

I was waiting to go through the tills at Lidl and the guy in front paid with his watch.
I paid with 20s of course. Old fashioned and proud of it.
We used to pay all our wages with cash which was an awful lot of money.Paying took a lot of time and it could be dangerous so we opened bank accounts for everyone pay everyone through the bank however they can all access their money through their phones and everything here can be bought or sold with Mpesa. Your money is on your phone. Which for people with no electricity or running water is really something.
