Have been told it could be done via laptop by calibrating it wrong way around but asking on here if anyone has done it

Sounds a bit way out to me tbh. surely al the deceleration pedal is is a switch that onice activated cuts the engine revs to those that you have set on the armrest comouter? How would it know how far you had pressed this new found accelerator.?

When I sold them the de accelerator pedal was proportional, not a switch? We’re yours on or off then @Jetemp . I think you can flip potentiometer upside down

all of the decelerators I’ve had anything to do with you set what revs they drop too and it was like an on off switch. When you got to the point of the switch being activated it cut the revs to the preselected engine speed,,

All 700 series and indeed 800 had progressive. Yes you could set the lower limit but it was still progressive. I used to use the pedal in the road. Once you got used it it was fine

I hated the decelerator on the road found it bloody dangerous! You used it to slow down coming up to a roundabout, then you needed to stop what do you do?
take your foot off the declarator which in turns gives you more regs speeding you up, but you actually wanted to slow down!
As an experienced challenger operator The only place I would ever use the decelerater peddle was turning on a headland, gave you an instant and quick reduction of speed reducing scuffing!
im still certain that you can’t make them into an accelerator!

Have spoke today to dealers they are progressive but it has to be reved up on hand throttle for it to work they don’t no if anyone who has made it accelerator but would be handy if it could be done as using challenger to fill boxes with potatoes

@Jetemp i would use both hand throttle abs de acceleration pedal on road. I found it best way to drive then. Mind I did more road miles than field miles ( sold them for a few years for an agro dealer )
