Cat th62 driveline problem

Was just going up the road with my cat and it started banging. As if a driveshaft had come off and was hitting the frame. Looked and it wasn't. Must be a hub or diff. Has anyone else had similar ?

Happened to most owners i believe, sometimes more than once

Ok sounds expensive. . Will have to get someone out to have a look

RT50 here would eat planetary drives, so took a walk to cambridge. last known stop syria. cat wanted £3k but could get it done for a third of that. Just a case of knowing where to go.

Rt50s are rare. We had one and sold it to our neighbour when we got this. Pity really as this has been a good bus
