Good luck! presume parts can be sourced from some other supplier than CAT themselves? Our lift pump has packed in, unfortuently with the boom down which is being a right pain on access given I cant get her started longer enough to lift clear.

Clarke T 12000. Widely used on many telehandlers. If the torque converter is back, should have transmission back by end of week.
I think it must of known we were thinking of updating it
Will have to keep it a while longer now
Looking for front transmission mounting bracket ( inner, near boom)
Been welded by previous owner. Part now obsolete

Draw around the plate with chalk on the bench, chop the brocken part off right across carefully leaving the gusset in place, drill and slot a new piece of flat bar and use the drawing on your bench to re set it and weld all along the new joint, strengthen if you feel it needs it and space allows.

that wouldnt be made out of MS tho, more than likely a medium carbon steel, likes of weldox or similar would let it away.
id imagine if it was repaired with ms then it wouldn't last too long altogether.
i could be wrong but id be surprised if it was made out of mild steel.

Can you get to the end of the fuel line feeding the lift pump?

If so feed diesel down it with either a 12v fuel pump or a primer bulb, this will get your machine running to lift the boom out of the way.

I tried to sipion disel back but as soon you try an lift the engine would wilt. I'm sure with a second set of hands someone could have balanced a tub - but I've managed to swap the pump yesterday by sliding the bonnet off, got her started last night. Then spotted a new leak coming from under the chassis. Thanks

I've got to replace the oil seals on the torque convert, leaking around the transmission shafts on ours and was thinking on just putting in a new cooler at the same time. Any recommendations on an after market given CAT want a tub of gold bullion for theirs?
